Last Run of 2018

9k to close 2018. Overall, I have logged 2’100k for 2018, which is 500k less than usual. For 3 months my Achilles tendon was playing up, so I had to ease up for a while.

We went for a run with my brother Mike and niece Naomi and then had a brunch at their house. Our mission for this run was to buy eggs at a local farm. They have a kind of automat where you can pay by card and then the respective door opens with the eggs. Pretty neat!

They also had funny looking potatoes that can’t be sold in the stores. You can buy them by paying any amount you want to in a jar. My favourite potato was the “Ugly Duckling”.

We arrived back safely (including the eggs) and then were ready for a fantastic brunch:

And that was 2018!

For the first quarter of 2019, we have two half-marathons planned in Malaga, Spain. Definitely looking forward to a new running experience!
